MTI MERC-AI
Maine Technology Institute's MERC-AI connects qualifying Maine companies with an AI advisor for a limited engagement, at no cost to the company. Designed to answer "where do I even start?"

Workshop
AI Without the Hype
A hands-on owner workshop run by Awakened Systems Group. Two hours, live systems, real Maine examples. Covers the four Task Force barriers: literacy, security, data, and adoption.
$500 for a small team. Held in southern Maine; dates posted as scheduled.

Maine Technology Institute (MTI)
MTI offers development and cluster grants that Maine businesses can use for technology projects, including applied AI. Deadlines and award sizes vary by program.

Maine Office of the Future
The Office of the Future runs the state's AI Task Force and related programs. The task force report names literacy, cybersecurity, and data management as the barriers this site is built around.

Free, confidential advising for Maine small businesses. Advisers can help you scope a technology purchase and find local funding before you spend.

We check every program against its primary source before listing it, and we note when a program is closed or paused. We do not accept listings or payment from programs. If you spot a dead link or a new program, tell us and we will check it. Read the editorial methodology for the full policy.
